I read this book in one sitting. Having struggled with being overweight as a child myself, I could relate to and empathize.
Being a mom now to a normal weight toddler, this book reinforced all of the things I want for my own son and gave me some great information in putting my desires for him to have a healthy childhood to practice. Im glad this family decided to share their story. They share the ups and downs and ins and outs. It was not an easy journey, but very inspiring and encouraging for families struggling with weight issues.
