This is my first time reading Melinda Curtis and let me just say….I’m in love!!!
I can’t believe I haven’t visited Harmony Valley sooner!
Although, One Perfect Year does not begin so harmoniously…
For one thing, the heroine Shelby is not too happy to see Gage, her former best friend. She even refers to him as Dead Gage, because he was M.I.A. when she felt she needed him the most. I understand her frustration and could empathize with her easily.
I loved Gage! He is sort of the nerdy-smart type of hero….which I LOVE!
He could never tell Shelby his true feelings for her back in high school.
I love reunion love stories and Melinda has crafted a fabulously romantic story about love and loss and hope for the future.
Supporting characters help make this story come alive.
This is a fantastic story that you won’t be able to put down! I love this town and can’t wait to revisit it in the other books in the series.
