Out of the Sex Industry and Into the Arms of the Savior
Annie Lobert

*** Special THANK YOU to Worthy for providing me with a review copy. My review is my own personal opinion.***

Annie Lobert was not so different from most girls. She grew up in a small town and had common struggles with friends, school, and boys. Her home was filled with turmoil, and, as happens far too often, she was sexually abused by a family friend. She knew heartache, but she didn’t know love. Sadly, Annie’s story is not uncommon.

Feeling unloved, used, and abused as a little girl, Annie Lobert struggled to find self-worth. Lured by the almighty dollar, she was drawn toward the seductive whispers and open arms of the sex industry, believing its false promises of security, adoration, value, and love. From her first stint testing the waters in Hawaii, Annie collected an easy few thousands dollars sometimes for as little as taking off her clothes. Greed consumed her, the money an easy remedy to numb her brokenness. She made her way to the lights of glamorous Las Vegas, where she became one of the most sought-after high-class escorts, fielding calls from celebrities, musicians, politicians, and other men with endless supplies of cash.

But the lights weren’t that bright. All that glitters isn’t gold. And it wasn’t long before the dream of getting all she ever wanted became the nightmare that plunged her into the darkest time of her life.

From her sixteen-year journey being owned by a violent pimp who took every dollar and beat her multiple times within inches of her life, to finding herself behind bars over twenty times, to being raped numerous times, to being diagnosed with and treated for cancer, Annie eventually found herself battered by emotional and physical trauma and at death’s door from a drug overdose. That’s when she finally surrendered to the love of a beckoning Savior.

Today, Annie is redeemed. Healed. Free. Through her harrowing account in the dark clutches of the sex trafficking industry and the miraculous deliverance she experienced in the arms of Jesus, readers will be encouraged knowing that no matter how far you have fallen, God loves you and wants to save you from the depths of any pain, trauma, addiction, or abuse, and to give you a new life.

Annie Lobert is a survivor of more than a decade of sex trafficking—working as an exotic dancer and a highclass escort prostituted in Hawaii, Minneapolis, and Las Vegas. She is an internationally recognized expert and advocate of ministry to men and women in the commercial sex industry from her personal experience. She and her husband, Oz Foxx, lead guitarist for the rock band Stryper, live in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Annie Lobert is a true survivor.
In her book Fallen, she recounts years of abuse in the sex industry.
But how does a normal teenage girl end up here?
Annie shares this as well.
Growing up feeling unloved and unwanted by the men in her life, she craved attention, affection and love.
Annie believed she had finally found it in a man named Julian, but he would only use and abuse her again and again and again.
This book was hard to read, I found myself clenching my jaw through the painful parts- hurting for Annie and all of the other women in the world going through this hell on earth.
Why not run? Just leave this terrible life behind?
Annie explains…in vivid detail.
Does not Satan himself masquerade as an angel of light?
Annie’s story is heart-wrenching.
It made me cry, it made me angry.
It opened my eyes to the reality I can no longer ignore.
These women need a Savior…thank God for Annie, her testimony and her ministry.

*****5/5 STARS- A MUST-READ!*****
