Kregel Blog Tour | Candle Bible Handbook

The best book to have beside your Bible…

Candle Bible Handbook

*** Special THANK YOU to Kregel for providing me with a review copy.***

Travel through Bible history with this comprehensible exploration of the Bible, following the key narratives from Genesis to Revelation. Perfect as a child’s first Bible reference, he will travel through Bible lands and times and discover how the people lived: the foods they ate, the homes they occupied, the clothes they wore, and the work they performed. There are sections of study questions throughout to further learning, as well as glossaries and FAQs to help understanding.

I can’t tell you how impressed I was when this book came in the mail!
First, it’s very colorful and just beautiful!
The detailed photos, maps, and illustrations add so much to the study experience. Highly impressive!!! The pages are much like the pages of a textbook. The font is perfect, making this a very easy to read study guide.

I was also impressed at how detailed the study is. It is divided up by books of the Bible (Genesis- Revelation) and each section includes…

An outline of that particular book of the Bible.
Insight into the book.
Frequently asked questions.
Things to “Look Out For” in the book.
Study questions.

The back of this handbook also contains…

Big Ideas in the Bible (topics like grace, repentance, covenant etc.)
Promises in the Bible
Fifty Very Important Passages
Who’s Who in the Bible
And a nifty Index!

I think this handbook would be great to use for at home Bible study, homeschoolers, at church in a Bible study class or group. I’m so impressed with it and think it would be a great addition to any Bible library!
