Nancy Mehl lives in Wichita, Kansas with her husband Norman, and her very active puggle, Watson.

She’s authored thirteen books and is currently at work on a new romantic suspense series for Bethany House Publishing.

Callie Hoffman has a good life in Kingdom, Kansas. She’s engaged to Levi Housler, the new pastor of Kingdom Mennonite Church, and she spends her days working with Lizzie Housler, her friend and soon-to-be sister-in-law, at the town cafe.

When a body is discovered on the road outside Kingdom and the deceased turns out to be the victim of a serial killer, the new county sheriff begins questioning Kingdom residents. Unsettled at the prospect of a killer in Kingdom, Callie is desperate to find answers for herself, especially when her own fiance seems to know more about the murder than he’s telling.

As the town battles an entirely unforeseen danger and Callie’s very life is threatened, the stakes are as high as they’ve ever been and the people of Kingdom must learn anew to put their trust in God alone.

This really is one of my favorite Amish series on the market!
If you are not a fan of Amish fiction, I think this series would change your mind!
Kingdom, Kansas is a place unlike any other & I love being able to revisit it again and again.
I love seeing how my fave characters have developed as the story has progressed.
Even though this is a series, each book can be read and enjoyed as a stand-alone. Though, I recommend reading the entire series….it is soooo good! I literally could NOT stop reading UNFORSEEABLE!

Nancy combines the well-loved Amish fiction genre with suspense and mystery.
Kingdom is a town with strong faith…though its had its trials, and the characters are likable and memorable.
I love main character, Callie- she is very devoted to her beliefs, but circumstances in the story begin to poke holes in the way of life she has always known. I think the character development in Callie was so strong and so wonderful to watch throughout the story.

What I love is the authors ability to keep readers guessing until the end.
You won’t be able to figure this one out!

Very engaging, thrilling and yet somehow a sweet small-town feel too!!!
